Remember back in high school when the curriculum is so full of extracurricular activities and clubs – glee club, sports club, editorial for the school paper, cheer leading and the endless excursions for specimen collection for science class, camping and not to forget Tree Planting. This movement proved very necessary especially among the young ones to promote social awareness of global warming, restoring and maintaining Earth’s natural resource base hopefully to make life carbon free. Tree planting programs have been launched worldwide and made mandatory for a good cause. The activity was so much fun, students enjoying each other’s company, sharing this mighty endeavour. Elation is in the air and memories are embedded not only in their minds but also through pictures and videos taken and stored in digital video recorder hard drive. Do not stop planting trees just because you are not in high school anymore, make it a family activity.
